The Winter Fun Fest Carnival is on!

On February 11 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. everyone is invited to the Benny Center facing Benny Park at the corner of Cavendish and Terrebonne to enjoy some winter fun.

The carnival is a popular event for the whole family. There will be snow games for children of all ages, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, several inflatable games and a mini-rink to skate on. Winter gear can be borrowed free of charge. You can also bring your own.

There will also be hot chocolate, hot dogs and marshmallows as long as the food lasts.

Everything is free. The carnival will go on with all activities being adapted to the weather conditions.

Last year over 500 families enjoyed the annual winter event, which is organized in collaboration with Comité Jeunesse NDG and the NDG Outing & Sports Club.

About Jeunesse Benny
Benny teens are once again helping to organize and run the carnival activities. Jeunesse Benny is the not-for-profit community organization managing the Benny Center in partnership with the City of Montreal since 1990. The Benny Center (back door of St. Monica school) offers free drop-in gym activities for local youths throughout the year, as well as a summer day camp and special events for the community.

Jeunesse Benny recruits local youth and their families to participate in leisure programs, after-school programs and park diversion programs, in order to promote a better community, through the use of public spaces such pools, parks, recreation centers, schools and other community resources.
